Private Health Insurance, Medicare Rebates, and NDIS
Counsellors at Express Yourself Counselling are registered through the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia who hold agreements with Private Health Funds such as Medibank, Bupa, AHM, HCF, and ARHG, so if you have Private Health Insurance with extras cover you may be able to claim benefits for counselling and psychotherapy services provided by us. You will need to check with your health fund as to whether you are eligible for rebates.
Express Yourself Counselling does not offer Medicare rebates, but our fees are similar to what you will have to pay out-of-pocket when seeing a psychologist through a Mental Health Plan, and better yet you will avoid the long waiting periods that are often associated with seeing a psychologist.
Express Yourself Counselling in not a registered NDIS provider, however if you self-manage your NDIS or have a plan manager, we are able to accommodate you.
